What a tremendous effort by Vincente Padilla- too bad he couldn't get the win, but great job by Hong-Chi Kuo to induce that double play in the 8th. This was an UGLY win if you look at it from the offense point of view for the Dodgers, but hey they'll take it anyway they can.
But that was just a great at-bat by Andre Ethier. Down 1-2 in the count he manages to coax a walk to push through the winning run. Manny and Kemp struggled, and they're going to have to do better in the series if we're going to have a chance of winning this series. Go Blue! |
