Major League Baseball has announced the game times for the NLCS at Dodger Stadium and they are as follows.
* NLCS Home Game 1
Thursday, October 15, 5:07 p.m. PT
* NLCS Home Game 2
Friday, October 16, 1:07 p.m. PT
* NLCS Home Game 3 (if necessary)
Friday, October 23, 5:07 p.m. PT
* NLCS Home Game 4 (if necessary)
Saturday, October 24, 5:07 p.m. PT
The Dodgers are encouraging fans to arrive early, as gates will open at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday and 10:30 a.m. on Friday. Whenever possible, fans are also encouraged to carpool to ease the flow of traffic and parking. Fans arriving early will have the opportunity to watch batting practice and avoid lines at concessions and merchandise stands throughout the stadium. As a reminder, there is no alcohol or tailgating permitted in the parking lots at Dodger Stadium.
Yesterday, the Dodgers and Major League Baseball announced that 4,500 tickets for each of the NLCS games at Dodger Stadium were released to the public and are available at dodgers.com/postseason, by calling 866 DODGERS, or by visiting the Dodger Stadium box office. Tickets start as low as $51 for the chance to see the Dodgers battle for their first World Series appearance since 1988.
The 2009 National League West Division Champion Los Angeles Dodgers recently swept the St. Louis Cardinals to advance to the NLCS for the second consecutive season, marking the first time they have accomplished that feat since 1977-78.
The Dodgers are playing "October Baseball" for the 17th time since moving to Los Angeles and the 26th time in the history of the franchise. The Dodgers finished the regular season with the NL's best record for the eighth time since moving to Los Angeles prior to the 1958 season. |
